After two decades of creating as a hairstylist, and a wild stretch of cross-country wandering, Kara Hartz landed in a strange little town in Wyoming—with her ride-or-die Matt, their chihuahua Benny, and Frenchie Maple. She’s been a hardcore thrifter since forever, chasing down character and realness in a sea of mass-produced garbage. New clothes? Nah. Fast fashion’s a straight-up scam and she’s not buying in.
